Warranty Terms

Xpres warranty terms. Expand each section for full manufacturer terms and conditions.

  • Adkins

      The manufacturer provides a 1 year return to base parts and labour warranty. Mug press heating elements have a 6 month warranty.

      If you are within your warranty period and believe there is a fault with your heat press, please contact Xpres Technical Support. After diagnosing the fault, a report is raised with the manufacturer. The manufacturer will then contact you directly to arrange collection of the press.

      Subject to availability, certain manufacturers may have a small pool of loan presses. Loan presses must be requested when the manufacturer contacts you to arrange repair/collection of the faulty press.


  • Bambi

      Bambi provide a 1 year return to base warranty for BB model compressors and a 2 year return to base warranty for the VT models. These warranties cover defective parts and labour.

      If you are within your warranty period and believe there is a fault with your compressor, first please contact Xpres Technical Support. The Xpres technical team will aim to resolve any problem over the phone. If this cannot be achieved a fault report is raised with the manufacturer, who will then contact you directly to further diagnose and resolve any warranty problem.


  • Epson

      Epson provide a 1 year warranty as standard, unless otherwise stated at point of sale. Faults should firstly be diagnosed by Xpres Technical Support before being referred to Epson. These terms apply to the following machines:

    • Epson SC-F6200
    • Epson SC-F7200
    • Epson SC-F9200
    • Epson SC-F2000
    • A 12 month manufacturer warranty also applies to all other Epson printers, although this warranty is invalidated if the printer has used non-genuine inks. In this instance, Epson cover the manufacturer’s warranty period on the ink delivery system, including the ink lines and print head. Sublimation systems must be kept in an environment where the temperature is consistently between 17-25°C.

      As with the machines listed above, faults should firstly be diagnosed by Xpres Technical Support before being referred to the manufacturer.

      In the rare event of hardware failure, the original printer packaging is required if the printer needs to be returned for any reason.


  • Kala

      Kala laminators are supplied with a 1 year warranty. If Xpres provide installation of the machine, the warranty increases to 2 years. Faults should firstly be diagnosed by Xpres Technical Support who will advise the necessary course of action.


  • OKI

      OKI laser printers have a 1 year warranty from the date of purchase, provided by the manufacturer. You should first contact Xpres Technical Support who will identify the problem and refer you to your local service centre. Alternatively, you will be advised to call the main OKI warranty line who will then go through diagnostics over the phone with you.

      In the rare event of hardware failure, Xpres require the original printer box should the printer need to be returned for any reason.


  • Mimaki

      Mimaki offer a 2 year warranty (unless otherwise stated at point of sale) on the following machines:

    • Mimaki CJV 150 Range Only
    • Mimaki JV Range
    • Mimaki CG Range
    • Mimaki FX Range
    • Warranty on the above printers is on the condition that they have been set up to use solvent inks. If the printers have been set up with sublimation inks, the warranty reverts to 12 months.

      A 12 month manufacturer warranty also applies to the following machines:

    • Mimaki LX Range
    • Mimaki SUV Range
    • Mimaki UV Range
    • Mimaki Sublimation Systems
    • If a fault is diagnosed on any Mimaki machine within its warranty period, Xpres will arrange the repair with the supplier on your behalf.


  • Mutoh

      Unless otherwise stated at point of sale, the manufacturer provides a 1 year warranty on Mutoh UV and solvent printers and a 6 month warranty on Mutoh sublimation printers.

      Damage to the head due to misuse of the machine is not covered. Faults should firstly be diagnosed by a member of Xpres Technical Support before being referred to Colourgen.

      If a fault is diagnosed under the warranty, Xpres will arrange the repair with Colourgen on your behalf. At this point all further contact will be through Colourgen. The Drafstation & VJ-1624W have operating temperatures of 20-28°c & 20-30°c with a max change of 2°c per hour. The storage conditions on the msds sheet for the inks state 5-35°c, but you obviously need to have the inks acclimatised prior to using.


  • Ricoh & Sawgrass Virtuoso

      Ricoh printers have a 12 month manufacturer warranty from the date of purchase, providing genuine Ricoh inks have been used.  You should first contact Xpres Technical Support who will identify the problem. If a hardware problem is found, you will be referred to your local Ricoh service centre.

      The 12 month manufacturer warranty is invalidated if your printer has used sublimation inks. In this instance, Sawgrass cover the manufacturer’s warranty period on the ink delivery system, including the ink lines and print head. Sublimation systems must be kept in an environment where the temperature is consistently between 17-25°C.

      Sawgrass machines have the following warranty periods:

    • Sawgrass Virtuoso SG400/SG800: 2 year warranty
    • Sawgrass VJ628: 1 year warranty
    • All faults should firstly be diagnosed by Xpres Technical Support before being referred to the manufacturer. In the rare event of a technical/hardware failure, Sawgrass require the printer to be returned in its original packaging should the machine need to be repaired or replaced.


  • Roland

      Roland DG provide a 1 year onsite warranty (unless otherwise stated at point of sale) which covers defective parts and labour. Damage to the head due to misuse of the machine is not covered. Faults should firstly be diagnosed by Xpres Technical Support before being referred to Roland DG. These terms apply to the following machines:

    • Roland VersaCAMM Series
    • Roland SPi Series
    • Roland VSi Series
    • Roland BN-20
    • Roland LEF Range
    • Roland LEJ Series
    • Roland VG Series
    • Roland Texart Series
    • In addition to the above, Roland DG provides a 2 year warranty (unless otherwise stated at point of sale) with the following machines:

    • Roland GS-24
    • Roland GX300
    • Roland GX500
    • Roland GX640
    • If a fault is diagnosed under warranty, Xpres will arrange the repair with Roland DG on your behalf.  The Roland ticket number will be passed on to you once the issue has been raised, at which point all further contact is to be conducted through Roland DG.


  • Sefa

      Sefa heat presses are supplied with a 2 year return-to-base manufacturer warranty, covering parts and labour.

      If you believe there is a fault with your heat press, please contact Xpres Technical Support for a full diagnosis. If a repair is required, we will advise details of where to return the press.

      Subject to availability, a loan press may be available upon request.


  • Schulze

      The Schulze pre-treatment machine comes with a 12 month warranty, unless otherwise stated at point of sale. Faults should firstly be diagnosed by Xpres Technical Support who will advise the necessary course of action.

      Please note: Brass/stainless steel nozzles and filters are not covered under warranty.


  • Vivid

      Vivid Easymount® laminators are supplied with a 1 year return-to-base warranty which covers defective parts and labour. Faults should firstly be diagnosed by Xpres Technical Support.
